من جانبه، قال كورتيس جونز، في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ديلي إكسبريس” الإنجليزية: “كلنا نحب مو، أنا أحبه، كان من بين الداعمين لي دائمًا في أصعب أوقاتي مع النادي، كنت أستطيع دائمًا التحدث إليه، والأمر نفسه الآن”.
وأضاف: “مو شخص مستقل، وله آراؤه الخاصة، ولا أعتقد أن نيته كانت التأثير على الفريق أو أي شيء من هذا القبيل، لقد كان مجرد أمر شخصي، وكما يعلم الجميع، الفريق والجماهير والجهاز الفني، كلنا نحب مو، إنه رجل رائع”.

وسئل سلوت عن إيزاك: “أعتقد أنه يقترب أكثر فأكثر من المشاركة بانتظام، مما يعني أنه قد يلعب المباراة القادمة أو الثلاثاء، أعتقد أنه بدنياً، بعد ثلاث او أربعة أشهر من الآن يقترب أكثر فأكثر من الحالة التي تسمح له باللعب أكثر وهذا ما رأيناه بالفعل لأنه لعب مباراتين متتاليتين”.
وقال سلوت أيضاً عن المهاجم السويدي: “أفضل طريقة لتقييم ذلك، هي تسجيل خمس أو ست أهداف في ثلاث أو أربع مباريات، لكني لا أعتقد أنه يمكن مقارنته مع هالاند من حيث الحضور والطول والحجم، لكن إيزاك والذي سجل عدة أهداف مع نيوكاسل وكان قد لعب ضدنا في نهائي كأس الرابطة وكنت أتمنى لو كان في فريقي ويتمتع بحضور قوي، والذي يأتي مع الثقة والثقة تأتي مع التسجيل والانتصارات، وأعتقد أن لاعبي فريقي شعروا بذلك أيضاً عندما لعبنا ضده الموسم الماضي”.
وختم عنه: “نحن وقعنا معه لسنوات وليس ثلاث أشهر، الفرق الرئيسي بالنسبة لإيزاك أننا نواجه مباريات كثيرة تلعب فيها فرق بدفاع منخفض، وهذا لم يحدث في نيوكاسل أو ليس بالقدر نفسه، الدوري أعتقد أنه تغير هذا الموسم ونشهد هذه الفرق بشكل أكثر بكثير، لكنني لا أرى أن هذا ضدنا فقط وأراه في العديد من المباريات، هذا يصعب الأمور عليه مقارنة بفترته مع نيوكاسل ولكن أعتقد أنه يتأقلم مع زملائه في الفريق وهما يتأقلمون معه”.
أكد حامد حمدان، لاعب منتخب فلسطين، فخره واعتزازه بتمثيل بلاده في بطولة كأس العرب 2025، مُشددًا على أن لاعبي الفريق اجتهدوا وعانوا كثيرًا للوصول إلى الدور ربع النهائي.

Nottingham Forest have now made contact to sign Everton’s James Garner, amid a new update on the midfielder’s future at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Forest are looking to bolster their options in the engine room, amid widespread interest in Elliot Anderson, with Chelsea recently joining the race for the Englishman, who has managed to impress once again this season, despite his side sitting 19th in the Premier League table.
Anderson has also emerged as a regular starter for England, most recently putting in a solid showing as the Three Lions cruised past Serbia 2-0, completing 77 passes, while also winning seven duels, the joint-highest number of any player.

Nottingham Forest make contact to sign James Garner
According to a report from Football Insider, Nottingham Forest have made contact over a deal for Everton midfielder Garner, who is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning his future at the Hill Dickinson Stadium is in doubt.
Forest have registered their interest in signing the 24-year-old, but there could be competition for his signature from Aston Villa, who have also made a move, while former club Newcastle United remain in the race.
The Merseysiders retain the option to extend the Englishman’s contract by an additional year, so they do not need to panic just yet, but they will be eager to tie him down soon, given that interest from elsewhere is now growing.
Sean Dyche knows the central midfielder well from their time working together on Merseyside, with the former Everton manager saying: “Jimmy Garner was terrific, he’s learning and improving. He’s just a good kid. He’s got that nice little edge about him that he’s a bit of a nark now and again, I like it.
“I think you need that as a footballer. The demands he places upon himself is very pleasing as he works very hard in training and I think he’s getting the rewards with his improvement.”
The Birkenhead-born midfielder has also performed well from a defensive point of view over the past year, even outperforming Anderson on some key metrics.

It was a performance built on a strong powerplay, but more importantly, smart and aggressive cricket throughout.Dushan Hemantha, for example, picked up three wickets – the most in the innings – and they were the prized scalps of Williams, Raza and Marumani. But such was the trajectory of the Zimbabwean innings that it hardly halted their momentum.Each of Zimbabwe’s top seven reached double digits, while five of them struck at a strike rate of 150 or more. It was the quintessential team innings, and one that saw them score 95 runs through the middle overs (7 to 16). Yet, by the end of the game, many watching on may have felt they were perhaps 30 runs short.That is primarily down to Sri Lanka’s excellent effort with the ball at the death, where they conceded just 38 runs and picked up four wickets, a period which culminated in a final over where the returning Pathirana gave away just six runs and accounted for two wickets – one of which was a run-out.
